Every so often you come across something so unexpected and different you would probably never have thought it would exist until its there in front of you. This is one of those things.

When my wife was an infant her parents attended a party, and Veronica Lake was also a guest.
This would have been no later than 1959. At some point VL wrote this poem on a spare diaper and presented it to my wife’s mother. So the provenance is pretty good.
