FILMOGRAPHY: LAKE SPOTTING
Sometimes an actress is easy to spot and other-times.. not so much. With ensemble movies and early uncredited appearances Veronica wasn’t always easy to find so here I’m trying to list when she first turns up helping you find her in some of her lesser roles.
Sorority House (1939)
- Role: a sorority girl.

- At 17:35 with her back to the camera "Oh, I’ve got such bad habits! If I should start pulling my girdle down, slap me!"
- 24:40 She hops up n down at the back with neck length curly blonde hair
Wrong Room (1939)
- Role: The Attorney’s New Bride.

- Throughout the short 20 minute feature and appears right from the very first scene
All Women Have Secrets (1939)
- Role: Jane

- 3 minutes in and a few lines of dialogue at the party
- She has some cute curls peeking out from under a little hat
Dancing Co-ed (1939)
- Role: Uncredited
- A frustrating one.. IMDB says "Woman on Motorcycle" but I can’t spot a it. Other sources indicate she might be in a crowd scene
- This photograph of a couple on a rowing machine around the 37 minute mark.. that’s my best guess
Young as You Feel (1940)
- Role: Bit Part

- The one big screen Lake performance I have yet to see. I’m not sure if this is a lost film or just one that no-one cares to make available in any format
Forty Little Mothers (1940)
- Role: Granville girl - One of the Little Mothers
- Credit: Uncredited
- About 36 minutes in she can be seen to the right of screen and in various crowd scenes thereafter
I Wanted Wings (1941)
- Role: Sally Vaughn

- About 53 minutes in during the nightclub scene and a major supporting character thereafter
Hold Back the Dawn (1941)
- Role: Actress on set tour of I Wanted Wings
- Credit: Uncredited
- 3 minutes in she is seen performing a recreation of the phone-call scene from I Wanted Wings and walking off set, but not seen again after this opening scene
Sullivan’s Travels (1941)
