Penthouse centrefold and adult entertainment star Veronica Sage (born 7th August 1973 in California) was an up and coming face in the industry during the mid 90’s and on occasion took the name Veronica Lake as a performing alias.
While not very ’Lake’ like in appearance she did use the name at least once in her movie career.
The most notable example was her early appearance in the 1993 adult movie "Exit in Rear" where she is credited as Veronica Lake in the part of a "Sorority Girl", which was one of eight movies she performed in that year.
I wonder if the notion of playing the part of a "Sorority Girl" inspired the use of the pseudonym as Connie had appeared in the 1939 movie "Sorority House". Not likely but a connection none the less.
She worked under several other names (Cher, Cici, Jewel, Jewel Night, Veronica, Veronica Night, Veronica Sanders) during her 30 movie adult career and her last adult film performance was in 1998.
During this period she also worked the adult magazine market under different names reaching the height of Penthouse Pet and cover model for the November 1995 edition where she is credited as "Cher".
