Just Who is Tamara Le Boinque?
Duckman - Noir Gang - Tamara Le Boinque

I came across this "Lake inspired" character completely by accident. I was flicking thorough the channels when I caught sight of a Duckman episode. I used to be a fan of this late night cartoon but bad programming marked it one you could easily forget about.

With interest I realized quickly that this was a black and white "The dame walked into my office" styled episode (much like most Duckman shows) but this one was an all out Noir tribute edition.

DuckmanThe usual standard of crass jokes and slapstick violence ensued. As per-scripting the dame arrived, low and behold with blonde hair that flopped over one eye.. :)

I’ve found scant info on Duckman since its run was terminated but have managed to get hold of a copy of the show so I can put up a few shots of the lady herself.

"Duckman: Private Dick/Family Man" is an American adult animated sitcom that aired from 1994 to 1997 on the USA Network. Created by Everett Peck and based on characters he created for a comic book of the same name, the show was developed by Peck, Ron Osborn, and Jeff Reno. "Duckman" is known for its dark humour, satirical themes, and unique animation style, which set it apart from many other animated shows of its time.

The series centers on the life of Eric Tiberius Duckman, voiced by Jason Alexander, who is a widowed, lewd, selfish, and incompetent private detective. Despite his many flaws, Duckman is a complex character struggling with personal issues, including the loss of his wife, Beatrice, and the challenges of raising his three sons: the conjoined twins Charles and Mambo, and the precocious Ajax. Duckman’s partner in his detective agency is Cornfed Pig, a highly competent and stoic pig who often serves as Duckman’s voice of reason.
