REVIEWS:
Blink and you miss them.. Ladd and Lake do a skit that must have been old hat even back in the 40's.
It's nice to see them and that's about all you can say.
Thrown together tat using big names to sell a pretty lacklustre plot.
No-one tries very hard to make something out of this really fractured plot and it's obvious everyone turned up for a pay cheque but it does have some charm in it's lightly made plotting.
Ladd and Lake are paired up for a couple of very short scenes totalling under 3 minutes. One where they are overheard practising lines and thought to be plotting a murder and another (very awkward) scene where Ladd intervenes as Lake's date slaps her face.
Mostly it's lightweight fluff that's inoffensive, dated and forgettable.
